April 2011
 Spring is here and the weather is beautiful. Not much rain so everyone’s projects should be ahead of schedule. This is the “Good Life” of an East Texas Architect. Speaking of schedules let’s update our meeting schedule for the rest of the year.
Our next meeting will be April 28th, in Tyler, at Villa Montez Restaurant. Our program will be our TSA President Elect, Craig Reynolds. Craig’s theme for his 2012 Presidential term will be “Influence” and I suspect his presentation will focus on this theme.
Also scheduled to attend is James Perry, TSA’s new Executive Vice President. I spoke briefly with James at last year’s convention and I was impressed...

Fitzpatrick Architects was very fortunate to work with Brookshire’s Grocery Company on their recently opened FRESH store in Tyler, Texas. Brookshire’s brought the firm on board more than three years ago to begin work on the store concept with their store planning team. Since that time, Fitzpatrick Architects has helped Brookshire’s re-imagine the conventional. Design of everything from the exterior envelope to the interiors to the selection of recycling bins was tasked to the firm.
